Halloween decoration

This year, we decided to organise a Halloween party!

And of course, no party without decoration. Here are a few examples of what we made:

  • A beheaded doll in a cardboard coffin
  • Brains made from clay
  • An eyeball jar made from table tennis balls and googly eyes
  • Pinhead from the Hellraiser movies, made from a dolls head and a few nails
  • Scary horror posters, printed by a friend who works in a printing office

I bought the dolls on a second hand market. One of the ladies was selling a dolls head without body. She thought that she would never get rid of it, and was very surprised that I bought it. She’s probably still wondering what I would do with it.

If you are familiar with Lord of the Rings, then you have probably already heard of Gandalf the Grey, Saruman the White, or maybe even Radagast the Brown. And perhaps you even read somewhere that there are even two more wizards, of which even Gandalf doesn’t remember the name anymore. But did you know that there is a sixth wizard called Bart (referred to as Baruman by some)? While the other wizards were fighting wars over a single ring, Bart was collecting hundreds of rings playing Sonic the Hedgehog. Furthermore, Bart used his Palantir to watch Star Wars instead of challenging Sauron. And finally he visited the libraries to study ancient lore, mostly found in comic books.
