During the Christmas holidays, we’ve paid a visit to Stockholm. In many cities, the metro is a dirty place, only useful to get from one place to another.
But in Stockholm, many of the metro stations are real pieces of art. There’s an underground cave, a rainbow station, and so much more.
But my personal favorite is the Thorildsplan metro station. It features artwork inspired by retro 8bit classics like PacMan or Mario.
We didn’t really need to be in Thorildsplan, but we’ve visited the metro station just for the artwork alone. And it was worth it!
