In a previous blog post you could read about my Lego catapult.
After a couple of successful attacks with the catapult, I’ve decided to extend the design towards a trebuchet. The differences are rather small: a catapult has a basket to hold a projectile, while a trebuchet has a swinging arm.

I used a piece of cloth to hold the poor minifig.

The range of the trebuchet is quite a bit larger than the catapult. And it’s also pretty cool to see the swinging arm in action.
And if you want to launch some other things using Lego, maybe you should check my paper plane launcher.
